LinkedIn Profile · 2026 Method
Your profile is not a resume: it is your professional landing page. Every post, every comment, every DM sends traffic to one single page. This playbook turns it into a page that converts, using LinkedIn's official 2026 numbers.

keepVisibility first
Before optimizing the landing page, you need trafic.
Two engines bring it: your posts and your commentaires.

The rest of this playbook decides whether they leave ou whether they become clients.
Engine 1 · Your posts
We analyzed over 1 million posts to find out what makes a post go viral. Everything we found is in the free playbook below.
Want to create content that pulls maximum visibility? LinkPost predicts how viral your posts will be before you publish.
Discover LinkPostEngine 2 · Your comments
Commenting is the only way to be seen by thousands of people without a single follower. And everyone who reads you can click on your name.
The most important one
The right person
The leaders and the prospects in your niche. Not your neighbour, not your friends. Without that, you talk to no one.
At the right time
In the golden hour of their post. That is when the algorithm hands out most of the reach, and therefore the exposure your comment will capture.
The right comment
Over 10 words, your expertise, not "great post". The goal: that someone clicks on your profile.
LinkHub handles all of it
Comment on the right people, at the right time, with the right comment.
The model
Get found, get understood, earn trust, trigger an action.
The map
Every area of this profile maps to a chapter of the playbook. Read it in order, or go straight to whatever is broken on yours.
Pillar 1 / 4
The best profile in the world is useless if nobody finds it. We start with what makes you visible: the photo, the verification and the skills.
Discovery · The photo
That is the official number on LinkedIn's 2026 help page. Same person, two photos: spot the differences.

Same person. Up to 2x more profile views.
And the same photo everywhere: LinkedIn, email, website. Consistency creates recognition.
Discovery · The photo, everywhere
32 profiles, like any LinkedIn comment section.

Less than a second, right?
That is exactly what standing out means.
Discovery · The verified badge
It is free and takes 2 minutes to join the top 10% of profiles.

Pillar 2 / 4
People find you. Now, do they understand what you do in 5 seconds? The headline, the banner and the About do that job.
Positioning · The headline
Your headline has three audiences in a single field. This is not a trade-off between keywords and clarity: it is a question of how much room each one gets.

The keyword before the promise. Always.
Positioning · The headline
This is the exact report you get, screen for screen. Shown here on an example headline, not a real profile.
Length
Long. Headlines over 180 characters belong to authors with 22 median likes, against 28 under 60 characters.
Keyword visibility
Your job comes too late, or not at all. That is the word people type to find you.
Truncation resistance
The cut lands badly, or the first words say nothing concrete.
Numeric proof
No number. A concrete result makes the promise checkable.
Readability
Too many separated blocks — the headline reads as a list.
These benchmarks come from 27,275 real French-language LinkedIn profiles. They are correlations: short headlines belong to authors who get more reach, which does not mean shortening yours will earn it.

The rest is cut in comments, search and invitations.
All ten scores come from the tool, none of them is hand-picked.
Free · we read your profile, you type nothing.
Positioning · The banner
One sentence saying what you do and for whom. One line proving it works. Nothing else: nobody reads the rest.
1 · Your value proposition
In plain words: what you do, and for whom.
2 · Your social proof
In plain words: your clients, your brands, your numbers.
I help creative agencies sign quotes faster
Write big. On your profile, this image displays twice as small as the one you uploaded. A phone number, a QR code or a line in small type will never be readable.
Positioning · The banner
It moves up and covers the bottom-left corner. Anything you write behind it is lost.

À propos
On the left, your photo eats your promise.
Positioning · The banner
Since late 2024, Premium Business subscribers can cycle five banners at the top of their profile.
Nobody stares at a header for 15 seconds. Make one, make it good.
Positioning · The banner
You do not need design skills. Each row is a level: the more dots, the more technical the tool. Pick the one that matches what you actually need.
I don't want to learn anything.
I already tinker with my visuals.
I want pixel-level control.
Nobody will ever see which tool you used.
Positioning · The About
Only the first 3 lines show. Everything else hides behind a \u201csee more\u201d. The counter at the bottom shows how many characters fit in those 3 lines.
About
I make B2B agencies close 40% faster. Not with a sales script, but with a process we install in your company in 90 days. 120 agencies coached. €4.2M in deals signed in 2025. 9 years in the field, 4 of them on the buyer side, watching exactly why a proposal lands or dies. What I find in almost every agency I meet: meetings that go nowhere, proposals sent and never followed up, a pipeline resting entirely on the founder. The problem is almost never the sales pitch, it is that there is no system behind it. I don't sell training. I install your closing system, I test it with your team on your real deals, I document every step, and I leave when it runs without me. Concretely: offer framing, meeting structure, proposal template, follow-up sequence, tracking board. All of it stays with you. The agencies I work with do between €300K and €3M in revenue, already have clients, and want to stop depending on word of mouth to fill their pipeline. One slot opens up this week. The link is under my headline.

Positioning · The About
The tool asks you four questions, scores your current About and rewrites three versions of it. This is the exact report you get, screen for screen.
What survives the fold
The visible zone opens poorly, or carries neither a figure nor a complete sentence. That is all most people will read.
Length
In the short bracket, the one whose profiles get the most reactions.
Job keyword before the fold
Your job lands after the fold, or not at all. That is the word people search for.
Structure
A wall of text. On LinkedIn, a thousand characters without a break do not get read.
Hard proof
No figure at all. 72% of About sections carry at least one.
Closing ask
Your text simply stops. Like 78% of the others.
These benchmarks come from 5,913 real French-language LinkedIn profiles. They are correlations: short About sections belong to authors who get more reach, which does not mean shortening yours will earn any.

Pillar 3 / 4
They find you, they understand you. What is left is the question every visitor asks: can I believe you? Proof does the work your adjectives never will.
Trust · Experience
LinkedIn's recruiter docs say where every filter reads from. Three of the most used ones are computed from your Experience section alone.

Hi Marc, I would like to ask you for a LinkedIn recommendation. To save you the blank page, just answer this:
1. What was the context we worked in together?
2. What problem did I help you solve?
3. What concrete result did you get?
Competence4. What surprised you about the way I work?
WarmthWrite it in your own words, even messy. Thanks.

SendTrust · Recommendations
That is the only thing stopping people from asking. Here is exactly what happens after you send it.
She writes it
The text lands in your notifications. It only appears on your profile if you accept it.
She does not reply
Nothing happens, nothing shows. Your request leaves no trace on your profile.
Trust · Certifications
You keep being told that profiles with certifications get 6 times more views. That number comes from a LinkedIn post published in November 2014, with no method and no sample. It has been copied for twelve years, and it has never been measured again.
What a recruiter can filter on, in the paid tool they use
There is even a \u201cDegrees\u201d filter. There is no \u201cCertifications\u201d filter at all.
Trust · Certifications
When LinkedIn removed its skill assessments in 2024, it wrote that it had made it possible to tag a skill to any credential obtained. That is the only path by which a certification reaches a recruiter: it feeds the \u201cSkills\u201d filter, the one filter from the previous list that it touches.
