What is a LinkedIn engagement rate?+
It's the share of your audience that interacts with a post. A higher rate means your content resonates and gets pushed to more people by the algorithm.
How do you calculate LinkedIn engagement rate?+
Engagement rate by followers = (likes + comments + reposts) ÷ followers × 100. For example, 150 total engagements on 5,000 followers is a 3% engagement rate.
What is a good LinkedIn engagement rate?+
Under 2% is low, 2–4% is average, 4–6% is good, 6–9% is great, and above 9% is elite. A solid target for most creators is 3 to 5%.
Should I calculate engagement by followers or impressions?+
Both are valid. By followers is the most comparable across creators because impressions are private. This calculator uses the by-followers method.
